Rescue officials said the woman\u2019s shawl got caught in the bike\u2019s chain, causing them to fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">KARACHI: An eight-year-old girl was killed and her mother injured in a road accident on Super Highway near Gadap City, rescue officials said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The child was identified as Ayesha, daughter of Nadeem, while the injured woman was named as 28-year-old Nazia, wife of Nadeem. Officials said the family was travelling on a motorcycle when Nazia\u2019s shawl became caught in the bike\u2019s chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rescue officials said the entanglement caused both mother and daughter to fall onto the road. Ayesha suffered a severe internal head injury and died, while her mother was hurt and is under treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Edhi volunteers moved the girl\u2019s body to a private hospital near the Super Highway Toll Plaza.
