The train later resumed its journey after officials detached the affected coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ISLAMABAD: A coach of the Tezgam Express derailed near the Sihala Railway Crossing on Monday morning while the train was travelling from Rawalpindi, according to railway-related details reported by Express Tribune.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The incident took place at about 8:25am and caused panic among passengers, who began screaming and reciting prayers after hearing a loud bang. The crossing falls within the Islamabad area and is known for heavy traffic congestion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trains are required to slow down to between 10 and 20 kilometres per hour while passing through the area because of safety concerns. The reduced speed helped avert a major disaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Railway officials and engineers reached the site and separated the affected coach from the train.
