The two workers were found to have suffered critical head and chest injuries and were declared dead at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The deceased were identified as Ghulam Hussain and Abdul Ghaffar. After the deaths were confirmed, the bodies were handed over to police for further investigation into the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A police official said the labourers had been working at the under-construction building near Liberty Roundabout when the lift suddenly gave way.
