TOBA TEK SINGH:<\/strong> Police in Faisalabad said they have arrested two men wanted in a robbery and gang rape case that was reported around six years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A police spokesperson told the media on Sunday that the two suspects, identified only as I and F, were accused of entering the house of Shahid in Chak 192 GB, Islamnagar, on the night of December 28, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the spokesperson, the suspects held the family members, including women, hostage after forcing their way into the house. Police said the family was tied up, with their hands and feet bound with ropes, and then locked inside a room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The spokesperson said the suspects later took Shahid\u2019s wife away from the rest of the family, raped her at gunpoint, and escaped after taking cash, gold jewellery, six mobile phones and other valuables from the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Police said both men had also been declared proclaimed offenders by a court before their arrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In another incident in Faisalabad, Civil Lines police on Sunday registered a case against two students of a private law college on allegations of abducting and raping a fellow student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The complainant, identified as M and described in the FIR as a first-semester student and a resident of Gojra, stated that she had appeared in an examination paper on April 30 at the centre established at Government Islamia College on Sargodha Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the FIR registered under Section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code, she said that after finishing her paper, she was on her way to the general bus stand to travel back to Gojra when the two suspects, identified as S and SA and described as students of the same college, forced her into their car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She alleged that they took her to an unidentified location, where S raped her while SA made a video of the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Police are conducting raids to arrest the two suspects, according to the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The two cases were reported by police in Faisalabad on Sunday, with one involving the arrest of suspects in a 2020 case and the other concerning a newly registered FIR over alleged abduction and rape<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Police in Faisalabad said two proclaimed offenders have been arrested in a 2020 robbery and gang rape case.
