Karachi\u2019s sole power supplier, K-Electric, has announced that there will be no load-shedding across the city during Sehri and Iftar timings throughout the holy month of Ramadan, ARY News reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a statement issued by the power utility, a special electricity supply schedule has been prepared for Ramadan to ensure uninterrupted power during peak hours of Sehri and Iftar, providing relief and convenience to consumers observing the fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the K-Electric Board of Directors has appointed Adeeb Ahmed as the acting Chief Executive Officer of the company. The decision was taken during a board meeting held to deliberate on the leadership position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Adeeb Ahmed has been associated with K-Electric as a director since 2019 and brings over 34 years of experience, including C-suite roles in the energy and infrastructure sectors. His career spans private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and transformation projects across the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He has previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Hascol Petroleum Limited and held senior advisory roles at the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
