Shehbaz Sharif has announced a major relief package for federal government employees ahead of Eid ul-Fitr, directing that their salaries be disbursed before the holidays.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, all federal departments have been instructed to ensure timely payment of salaries so employees can meet their financial needs during the festive occasion.

Officials said necessary arrangements have already been initiated following the prime minister’s directives, and the process of early salary disbursement is underway.

The move is aimed at providing convenience and financial ease to government employees as they prepare to celebrate Eid ul-Fitr with their families.
